A small, exclusive environment where your cat’s welfare and security is the top priority

We decided to open our own boarding cattery after yet another year spent on the phone for hours trying to find suitable boarding facilities for our own cats. We could never plan very far in advance so often there was no room left at the Inn for Tazzy and Puzzle.

As ardent animal lovers we felt we knew what other owners were looking for when they go away and we decided we wanted to provide a small, exclusive environment with the latest in luxurious cattery accommodation which are both CIEH and FAB compliant… so Cosy Cats was born.

Our aim is to provide peace of mind so owners are safe in the knowledge they are leaving their pets where they will be well cared for. Our guests will be our top priority and will be staying in a safe, hygienic environment with each chalet having individually heated sleeping areas and a exercise run which opens onto a safety corridor. Giving lots of love, care and individual attention with their own diets provided we hope to make their stay as near to home from home as possible. Where required medication can be administered along with any other special treatment if needed, just ask.

We have five double size Penthouse style chalets, each with its own ladder and four double size Walk-in style chalets for our less active guests. They are sited in a garden setting where we have close and easy access at all times. As an additional safety feature we have installed Web cams to monitor activity within the cattery. We also have Isolation facilities should they be required.

Visits - We feel it is important to visit the cattery before you board your cat with us, and welcome you to come and look at the facilities and tell us about your cat’s requirements. Please call for an appointment to ensure we will have adequate time to spend with you.

If you are viewing other catteries before deciding where to board your cat, please do not visit us immediately after leaving another cattery. Although the risk is small, we would not wish to jeopardise cats already in our care with contamination possibly picked up elsewhere.

Cosy Cats Boarding Cattery is located in the Cinque port town of Sandwich on the South East coast of Kent not far from the port of Dover and close to Manston Airport.

We provide a Free pickup and drop off service within a 10mile radius of the cattery for stays of five nights and over, with a small charge for those further afield.
